New!

No script? No problem! Learn all about the art of comedic and dramatic improv in this play and games-based class focusing on improving confidence and public speaking. For aspiring actors, comedians, writers or personalities of any kind.

Classes are taught by Steven White, an Emmy-nominated writer/producer (black-ish, grown-ish, Workaholics) who also has improv experience at the world-renowned The Second City. He recently taught an after school Improv class at Tesago for their Discovery program.

INTRO SESSION:

Welcome to Improv! This camp will introduce your child to the world of improv, with a focus on the basic rules and structure before delving into themes of character, scene building, details and the always-important working with partners.

All a child needs to attend this class is an open mind! For children entering grades 3-7.

INTERMEDIATE SESSION:

This level is for those who have experience in either prior improv classes and camps or a detailed acting background. These sessions are less about the 'what' of improv and more focused on skills through scene work, games, and multi-person set ups.

For children entering grades 3-7, with previous improv or acting experience and knowledge.

*Stay tuned for updates on Improv "open sessions" - available for students who just want to drop in for improv but can't commit to a longer schedule.
